Pro install tips:
- Cut back to fresh, undamaged PTFE liner. Wrap the cut area tightly with tape before cutting to control braid fray; remove tape after cutting.
- Slide the nut over the hose, then seat the new ferrule fully on the PTFE liner—no stray braid under the ferrule.
- Clamp the fitting body in aluminum vice jaws; tighten the nut with an aluminum AN wrench until fully seated.
- Pressure-test the line before driving. For EFI, use a 10 micron or finer (≤10 μm) pressure-side filter.
