EFI Quick-Connect to AN Adapter — 3/8″ & 5/16″ to -6 / -8 AN (LS Rail / Regulator)

Snap your factory EFI quick-connects to AN hose—no weird hacks, no leaks. Choose the exact size you need: 3/8″ feed or 5/16″ return on the OEM side, and -6 AN or -8 AN on the hose side. Perfect for LS rail connections, Corvette 58 PSI filter/reg installs, and any SAE EFI quick-connect that needs to meet AN plumbing.

Why this adapter:
  • Match OEM quick-connect to AN hose for clean, serviceable plumbing
  • Exact sizes for LS rails: 3/8″ feed, 5/16″ return
  • Choose your hose end: -6 AN (most builds) or -8 AN (bigger flow)

How it connects

FEED 3/8″ QC → AN To AN Hose (-6 / -8) RETURN 5/16″ QC → AN To AN Hose (-6 / -8) Rail Feed 3/8″ QC Return 5/16″ QC Adapter QC → AN Adapter QC → AN AN Hose -6 or -8 AN AN Hose -6 or -8 AN
Factory quick-connect (3/8″ feed or 5/16″ return) → AdapterAN hose end. Pick the OEM side and AN size to match your build.

What to choose

  • OEM side: LS rails are commonly 3/8″ feed and 5/16″ return.
  • AN size: -6 AN suits most swaps; choose -8 AN for higher flow headroom.

Where it fits

  • LS rail feed/return quick-connects
  • Corvette-style 58 PSI filter/regulator ports (return-less layouts)
  • Other SAE EFI quick-connect components that need to step to AN hose

Install basics

  1. Lightly lubricate the QC O-ring with clean engine oil.
  2. Push straight until you feel/hear the click; then perform a gentle tug test.
  3. Attach the AN flare end—no tape or sealant on 37° flares. Support the line and re-check for leaks.

FAQs

How do I tell 3/8″ from 5/16″?
Measure the outside diameter of the hard line: 3/8″ ≈ 0.375″; 5/16″ ≈ 0.312″. Most LS rails are 3/8″ feed and 5/16″ return.
Will this fit my rail or regulator?
Yes if it uses the common SAE EFI quick-connect style. Not for flare, NPT, or spring-lock connections.
Do I need sealant?
No sealant on the quick-connect. On the AN side, 37° flares seal metal-to-metal—no tape or paste.
