AN Rollover Valve – Vent Safety for Your Fuel System
Protect your fuel system and meet critical safety standards with our high-quality AN Rollover Valve. Designed to prevent fuel leaks during a rollover and ensure proper tank ventilation, this compact but essential component is a must-have for performance and street vehicles alike.
What is an AN Rollover Valve?
Rollover valves are specialized safety components that serve a dual purpose in your fuel system. First, they act as a vent for your fuel tank, allowing pressure equalization during fuel consumption and refilling. Second—and most importantly—they include a check ball mechanism that stops fuel flow in the event of a rollover, preventing fuel spillage and potential fire hazards.
Why You Need a Rollover Valve
Every performance fuel system must be properly vented to function efficiently. But venting without a safety mechanism can lead to fuel escaping during an accident. Our AN rollover valve solves both issues in one compact design:
-
Ensures proper fuel tank ventilation for smooth fuel delivery
-
Prevents fuel leaks in rollover events via internal check ball
-
Compatible with AN fittings for easy integration into aftermarket systems
- Essential for LS swaps, EFI conversions, race vehicles, and off-road builds
Product Features:
- Aluminum construction with black anodized finish
- Internal stainless steel check ball prevents fuel escape on rollover
- Compact and lightweight design
- AN6 and AN8 sizes available for seamless integration
- Ideal for use with vented fuel tanks, fuel cells, and custom builds
When to Use a Rollover Valve:
This fitting is highly recommended when:
- You’re building a custom fuel system with a vent line
- Installing a fuel cell or aftermarket tank without OEM rollover protection
- Swapping to EFI or an LS engine that demands proper fuel venting
- You plan to track, race, or off-road your vehicle
Installation Tip:
Mount the valve vertically (with the ball resting downward) in your vent line for proper operation. Avoid mounting flat or upside-down as this can disable the check valve function. Connect it to a properly routed vent hose—preferably with a filter at the end to block dirt and debris.
