Quick guidance: most EFI feed/return builds use 20–30 ft total (vehicle dependent). Measure your run before selecting length.

Why PTFE over rubber

  • Ethanol-ready: compatible with modern gasoline & ethanol blends (E10–E85).
  • Low permeation: helps eliminate fuel odor and vapor loss.
  • Heat & pressure durability: longer service life vs. rubber-lined hose.

  • EFI conversions (use a 10 micron or finer (≤10 μm) pressure-side filter)
  • LS/LT engine swaps (feed/return, regulator, filter plumbing)
  • Transmission oil cooler lines & engine oil cooler lines
  • Replacing aging fuel or fluid lines with modern PTFE

Important: For fuel & fluid systems noted above. Not for brake lines or power steering.

Pro install tips:
  1. Measure & mark; wrap the cut area tightly with tape, then cut square with quality shears.
  2. Remove tape; seat the olive/ferrule on the PTFE liner correctly.
  3. Clamp the fitting body in aluminum vice jaws; tighten with an aluminum AN wrench.
  4. Pressure-test before driving. For EFI, use a ≤10 μm filter on the pressure side.

Do I need to tape the hose before cutting?
Yes. Wrap the cut area tightly with tape before using shears to control braid fray. Remove the tape after seating the olive/ferrule.
What filter should I use for EFI?
Use a 10 micron or finer (≤10 μm) filter on the pressure side. See our fuel filters.
Can I use this for brakes or power steering?
No. This kit is not intended for brake or power steering systems.
