Porting: Universal series uses -6 AN O-ring Boss (ORB) ports. Convert directly to AN using -6 ORB → AN adapters—no hose barbs needed.
Vent ports on many sending units vary by application and are commonly 1/4" or 5/16" hardline tube. Use our Hard Line to AN adapters to convert the vent to AN. For most builds, -6 AN hose and fittings are ideal from the sending unit to the Vapor Trapper™ and to your safe vent location.
Pair the Vapor Trapper™ with our rollover valve to help reduce fuel spillage if the vehicle is inverted. This is a bulkhead-style, through-tank valve: drill the specified hole in a flat spot on the top of the tank, the valve body installs inside the tank, and two PTFE sealing washers sandwich the tank wall. On the outside of the tank you’ll see the male AN fitting ready to connect your vent line.
Intended for vehicles and fuel cells vented to atmosphere (hot rods, classics, boats, off-road). Not a replacement for OEM emissions systems; check local regulations before modifying emissions equipment.
