EFI Fuel Line Quick-Disconnect Tool Set — Spring-Lock Release (6 Sizes)

Pop stubborn OE quick-connect fuel lines without breaking tabs or chewing fittings. This 6-piece spring-lock release set covers the common EFI sizes (5/16", 3/8") plus larger A/C line couplings. Perfect for LS swaps, EFI conversions, filter service, and line reroutes.

Why this belongs in your box

  • Fast, clean disconnects: slide, click, and the spring lets go—no prying, no broken clips.
  • Protects fittings: right tool saves plastic retainers and aluminum hardline ends.
  • Covers the bases: works on late-model EFI quick-connect fuel lines and spring-lock A/C couplers.
  • Swap/Service friendly: ideal for filter/regulator changes, pump swaps, and LS fuel system installs.

What’s in the set

  • Six release tools: 5/16", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 7/8".
  • Typical use: 5/16" & 3/8" for EFI fuel lines; larger sizes for spring-lock A/C lines.

Compatibility & notes

  • Disengages spring-lock style couplings on many GM, Ford, and Chrysler fuel systems.
  • Also works on common A/C spring-lock couplers (select the matching tool size).
  • Some Ford radiator / transmission cooler quick-connects use the 5/16" size.
  • Not for AN flare, ORB, or NPT connections—those don’t use spring-locks.

How to use (quick)

  1. Depressurize the system (pull fuel pump fuse/relay, run engine until stall, or use the Schrader valve). Wear eye protection.
  2. Select the correct tool size. Open the tool and slide it over the hard line.
  3. Push the tool into the connector to spread the internal spring, then pull the fitting apart while holding the tool seated.
  4. On reassembly, push until you feel/ hear the positive click. Tug-test and check for leaks on restart.

Finish the job with Hot Rod AN

Safety: Always relieve pressure before disconnecting fuel lines. Capture spills, ventilate the work area, and keep ignition sources away.
