Corvette Style Fuel Filter & Pressure Regulator — Built-In AN-6 Fittings (58 PSI)

Return-less LS swap plumbing made simple. Built-in AN-6 males on IN, OUT, and RETURN for a clean, leak-free install with PTFE hose.

Upgrade your EFI fuel system with an OEM-style C5 filter/regulator tuned to a stable 58 PSI. This combo simplifies plumbing for return-less LS fuel rails, reduces parts count, and delivers consistent pressure for reliable starts and smooth fueling.

Why this filter/regulator

  • Built-in AN-6 fittings: Male AN-6 on all three ports — no EFI quick-connect adapters required.
  • LS-swap ready: Purpose-built for return-less LS systems (LS1/LS6/Gen III/IV).
  • Stable pressure: Fixed 58 PSI output for modern EFI.
  • Clean routing: Mount near the tank; single feed line to the rail, return handled at the unit.
  • Correct filtration: Use ≤10 µm on the pressure side for EFI longevity.

Quick diagram (return-less layout)

[Tank] ──> (In-tank Pump) ──> IN on C5 Filter/Reg (58 PSI) ──> OUT to fuel rail
                                    └── RETURN back to tank

Tip: Mount on the frame rail near the tank, away from heat. Keep the return short.

Specs

Pressure 58 PSI (fixed)
Ports AN-6 male — IN / OUT / RETURN
Filtration Fine filtration; plan for ≤10 µm on the pressure side for EFI
Fuel Pump gas ready; for ethanol blends use PTFE hose throughout and confirm regulator element compatibility
Flow guidance Typical swaps with ~255 LPH pumps are supported. Very high flow (340+ LPH) or boosted builds may require a high-flow return-style regulator up front.

What it solves

  • Eliminates engine-bay return line on LS swaps
  • Removes guesswork on pressure (set 58 PSI)
  • Cleans up plumbing with AN-6 male ports

Pre-matched hose & ends for this exact layout

PTFE Hose Bundles (AN-6 / AN-8)

PTFE liner with stainless-steel braid; nylon-jacket option

Gauge / Pressure-Port AN Adapter

Verify ~58 PSI at the rail (KOEO)

P-Clamps & Hose Mounts

Secure lines every 18–24" to prevent chafe

Install notes

  1. Mount the unit near the tank on the frame rail (observe flow arrow).
  2. Plumb Pump → IN (AN-6), OUT → Rail (AN-6), and RETURN → Tank (AN-6).
  3. Use PTFE AN hose for pump gas/E85 and zero-odor garages. Seat olives squarely; tighten with AN wrenches.
  4. Prime the system, then confirm ~58 PSI at the rail using the gauge/pressure-port adapter.

FAQs

Is this return-less or return-style?
Return-less at the rail. One feed line to the engine; excess fuel is returned at the filter/regulator’s RETURN port.
Do I need EFI quick-connect adapters?
No. This version has AN-6 male on all ports. If your rail or pump uses quick-connects, use QC→AN adapters on those components only.
What micron filter should I run?
Pressure-side EFI filtration should be ≤10 µm. This combo provides fine filtration; if you switch to a separate regulator, add a ≤10 µm post-pump filter.
How much flow can it support?
Typical swaps using pumps around ~255 LPH are supported. Very high flow pumps (340+ LPH) or boosted builds often need a high-flow return-style regulator up front.
